Search warrant reveals multiple containers of fentanyl, Sweetwater man arrested
From Local 3 News: A Sweetwater man was arrested on Thursday, January 9 after a search warrant led to the discovery of multiple containers of fentanyl.
The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) sought out the search warrant after receiving a tip that fentanyl was being sold in the 800 block of Beardshire Street.
Police say that during the search, drug paraphernalia was found in addition to the containers of fentanyl. James Ingram was taken into custody and now faces these charges:
"As law enforcement, our primary focus is to stop the sale of dangerous drugs including fentanyl in our community. Every dealer we take down helps save lives and keeps our streets safer," says Sweetwater Police Chief Robert Byrum.
