The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office has announced the promotion of Lt. Julie Quinn to the rank of captain, recognizing nearly three decades of service and leadership within the department.
Captain Quinn began her career with the agency in 1997. She served as a Field Training Officer from 1998 to 2003 before being promoted to corporal in 2003, sergeant in 2005, and lieutenant in 2010. In 2017, she took on the role of Training Lieutenant.
Quinn brings extensive experience in both operations and training. She is a certified police instructor through the Tennessee POST Commission and serves as an adjunct instructor at the Cleveland State Law Enforcement Training Academy. She also serves as the department’s range master.
Throughout her career, Quinn has completed specialized training in a wide range of areas, including field investigations, crime analysis, crisis intervention, active shooter response, leadership, and supervision.
She is also actively involved in several professional organizations, including the National Rifle Association, the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors, the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Officers Association, and FBI-LEEDA.
Officials say Quinn’s promotion reflects her longstanding commitment to training, leadership, and service to the Bradley County community.
