Lee’s Dr. Murray receives COG Distinguished Educator Award
Dr. Debbie Murray, Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Lee University, was honored with the Distinguished Educator Award for Leadership during the 79th International General Assembly of the Church of God in Indianapolis.
Murray, who joined Lee University in 1980, expressed gratitude for the recognition and credited her colleagues and family for their support throughout her career in education.
Murray holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in Education with an emphasis in educational psychology and a Master of Science in special education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She completed her undergraduate degree in mathematics education at Lee College.
