Bradley County Commission Work Session 08-25-25
The Bradley County Commission met last night for a work session-
Mayor Gary Davis asked for two resolutions to be considered next week—one for a five-year internet contract with Cleveland Utilities for the recreation department, and another to accept funds from opioid settlements.
Commissioners also heard that Relay for Life will be held Saturday, September 20th, from 2 to 9 p.m. at the courthouse square. The event will feature survivor celebrations and entertainment.
Commissioner Rogers congratulated Cleveland State Community College, which recently had a 100% pass rate on the state paramedic exam, noting several of those students already serve with Bradley County EMS.
The courthouse will be closed on Monday, September 1st, for Labor Day.
The next voting session of the commission is Tuesday, September 2nd, at 7 p.m.
