Commissioners approved Mayor Gary Davis’ list of committee appointments and reappointments by a unanimous vote.
A resolution was passed to allow the county mayor to negotiate an agreement with Journey Mental Health to provide services for Bradley County first responders.
Another resolution extended the county’s telephone services contract for three more years at the courthouse, annex, and juvenile center.
Commissioners also approved leasing new cardiac monitors for EMS at a cost of about $123,500 per year.
A motion to prorate the fire tax upon annexation by the City of Cleveland passed 11-2.
The commission’s next work session will be on Monday, September 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at the courthouse.
