Bradley County Commission Work Session 08-11-25

Mayor Davis shared that the state comptroller’s office has officially approved the county budget and commended commissioners for passing the budget before the fiscal year began.

The Finance Committee voted down a $75,000 request to prepare property on Minnis Road for a new fire facility. Commissioner Milan Blake asked to include the recommendation of the committee on the next voting session agenda. 

Commissioner Mason reported the July TDOT Litter Grant numbers- crews picked up more than 14,000 pounds of roadside litter plus 700 pounds of recyclables.

The next voting session is set for Monday, August 18th at noon at the Bradley County Courthouse.
