In Loving Memory of Dewayne Williams
June 18, 1965 - January 18, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dewayne Williams, who left us peacefully after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer on January 18, 2025. He was 59 years old.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and community member, Dewayne was known for his boundless energy, infectious positivity, and unwavering kindness. He touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and strength.
Throughout his life, Dewayne was a constant source of support, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. His friendly smile and genuine interest in others made him a cherished figure in his community. Whether you knew him from the skating rink, the Great Escape, the bowling alley, or Mix 104.1, his generosity and zest for life was undeniable.
Dewayne is survived by his wife of 33 years, Karen, his daughters Brittany (James) Senna and Ashlyn (Austin) Byerly, his grandson Wriston Senna, his brother Ray (Tina) Williams, brother and sister-in-laws Todd (Lara) Davidson and Mark (Diann) Davidson, and father and mother-in-law Tony and Yvonne Davidson. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda Mangrum and father Billy Williams.
Receiving of family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at First United Methodist in Cleveland from 2-4 pm. A celebration of life will follow immediately after. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Empty Stocking fund, a local charity that was very close to his heart. Donations may be mailed to:

Though his physical presence is no longer with us, the love and joy he brought into the world will forever remain in our hearts. Dewayne's legacy of kindness, energy, and community spirit will continue to inspire us every day.
